Iron Maiden Forced To Change Venues

06/05/2013

(hennemusic) Iron Maiden have announced a change in venue for their September 20th concert in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Originally scheduled for Sao Paulo's Jockey Club, Maiden has moved the show to Arena Anhembi due to noise limitations imposed by the previous venue.

When they were informed by their promoter in Sao Paulo, XYZ Live, that there would be sound level restrictions at the Jockey Club, Iron Maiden advised the promoters that they would prefer to find a place where sound levels would not be restricted and to make any change with minimum hassle for their fans.

Both venues have similar configurations, so fans can use their existing tickets for the Arena Anhembi show. Maiden will be joined by Slayer and Ghost for the September 20th show, part of the group's "Maiden England" world tour. more on this story
