Limited Edition Dio Holy Diver 30th Anniversary Guitars Coming

. (hennemusic) The 30th anniversary of Dio's debut, "Holy Diver," is being celebrated with a limited-edition guitar made by Artist Series Guitar with only 30 of the guitars set to be made.

Finished with Dio's exclusive artwork and built with solid mahogany, the Dio ASG is set with artwork from the "Holy Diver" album release. Once the graphic has undergone the ASG-designed, chemical bonding process, the guitar is then clear-coated, wet-sanded and buffed. This process forever seals the custom graphic to the guitar.

Pre-sale will begin on July 10, to mark what would have been Ronnie James Dio's 70th birthday. Released on May 25, 1983, "Holy Diver" has been hailed by critics as Dio's best work and a classic staple in the heavy metal genre. The album was certified Platinum for sales of 1 million copies in the US in March of 1989. Check out the promo video here.
