The Replacements Reunite
. The iconic band played their last show together at Grant Park in Chicago on July 4, 1991 but last fall the members reunited to "pay tribute to and help out" guitarist Slim Dunlap, who suffered a stroke in February of 2012. Things went so well that the band has decided to reunite for a series of live performances at this year's Riot Fest which will be taking place in Chicago, Toronto and Denver. Riot Fest Chicago will be taking place on September 13-15 at Humboldt Park and will also include Fall Out Boy, Blink 182, Violent Femmes, Motorhead, Rancid, Blondie, Public Enemy, Rocket from the Crypt and more. Riot Fest Toronto will be taking place on August 24th and 25th at Fort York and will also include Iggy & the Stooges, A Day To Remember, Pierce the Veil, Every Time I Die, Rocket from the Crypt, Dinosaur Jr, Best Coast, Mayday Parade, Grade, The Ghost Inside, Structures, Real Friends, The Flatliners and Single Mothers. The Denver Riot Fest will be taking place at May Farms on September 21st and 22nd and will include Blink 182, Iggy and The Stooges, Rancid, AFI, Public Enemy, Brand New, Airborne Toxic Event, AWOLNATION, Guided by Voices, FLAG, Rocket From The Crypt, Bad Religion, Matt & Kim, The Dismemberment Plan, Alkaline Trio, Superchunk, Yo La Tengo, AgainstMe!, Best Coast, Minus the Bear, Naked Raygun, The Stranglers, Stars, Capital Cities, Breathe Carolina, The Dear Hunter, Bosnian Rainbows, This Will Destroy You, Wovenhand, Lydia, Peelander-Z, Touche Amore, Off With Their Heads, Single Mothers, Kitten, Kongos, New Beat Fund and more to be announced.
