However, in Detroit this past Sunday night (June 16), Keith took it one step further: He administered the re-enlistment oath for Operations Specialist 2nd Class Jessie Siordia. (Jessie's commanding officer was in attendance, to make sure everything was legal.)

"I like to do everything I can for our military," Keith said, "but I have to say, I've never done anything like this before."

Siordia had written to WYCD Detroit (a Radio.com station) morning show host Dr. Don, asking if there was any way he could get Keith to administer the oath. Jessie had attended one of Toby's USO concerts in Afghanistan. Jessie got his wish, while Detroit's own Kid Rock was also there to shake Jessie's hand.
