Harry Potter's Emma Watson May Be The New Cinderella

Emma Watson may be going from a supporting role in the Harry Potter film franchise to playing the title role in Cinderella.

Watson is reportedly in talks to star in Disney's new version of Cinderella which will be directed by Kenneth Branagh.

Chris Weitz wrote the screenplay and Cate Blanchett has reportedly been cast in the role of the wicked stepmother.

This is not the first time Watson is considered to play Cinderella. Back in 2009, she was going to play the character in a drama musical Marilyn Manson planned on writing and directing, according to this report.
