Fisher was interviewed by Palm Beach Illustrated magazine about a variety of topics and they asked her to confirm if she will reprise the role of Princess Leia in Star Wars VII. She simply responded "yes".

They followed-up by asking her what she thinks Princess Leia is like today and she answered, "Elderly. She's in an intergalactic old folks' home [laughs]. I just think she would be just like she was before, only slower and less inclined to be up for the big battle."
