"Boogie Shoes" was one of the hit songs that was featured in the blockbuster Saturday Night Fever soundtrack and that album was among the 25 recordings added to the National Recording Registry along with Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, The Ramones self-titled album and Simon &Garfunkel's Sounds of Silence among others.

Casey had this to say about the honor, "I am honored to know that I am part of something as historical as Saturday Night Fever and that a sound that we created back in 1973 has kept the world dancing."
