Lou Reed Cancels Coachella

Lou Reed has mysterious canceled his appearances at this year's Coachella Music Festival as well as the dates surrounding the two weekend event.

The website for the former Velvet Underground frontman did not give any reason for the cancelations. The site just simply now lists the dates as canceled.

Reed was also scheduled to play concerts at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, the Warfield in San Francisco, and the Golden State Theatre in Monterey, but those shows are listed as canceled now as well.

The Orpheum event's page on their website gave the following reason for the cancelation: "This show has been cancelled due to unavoidable complications."
