(Classic Rock) Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon is rock's greatest success story: it's sold 50 million-plus copies worldwide, after all. But drummer Nick Mason reckons the album could have been even better!

He said: "It would have been great to have played [Dark Side] live a number of times and then recorded it. I think we would have sequenced it differently. It's not only what you play but where you play it that could have changed."

Mason also said the old-fashioned vinyl format helped determine Dark Side's flow: "You knew it was side one, side two, very different people would often play side one and move on to something else."

Mason was talking last Friday (March 22) at a special press conference to celebrate Dark Side's 40th anniversary, held at Studio 3 of London's Abbey Road studios where the iconic album was originally recorded. You can check it out here.
