Megadeth's Gigantour To Feature Newsted and Hellyeah

. Two former members of Metallica will be hitting the road together this year. Jason Newsted revealed that his new band Newsted will be taking part in Megadeth's Gigantour.

Newsted broke the big news to fans with the following Facebook post, "Hey Newsted Metalheads!!! I am so excited to announce that Newsted will be joining Megadeth this summer on Gigantour 2013!!! More details coming later this week. Can't wait to crush it this summer!!!"

Newsted will join the touring lineup which will feature Megadeth, Hellyeah, Disturbed frontman David Draiman's new band Device, and Death Division which features Hellyeah / Nothingface's Jerry Montano and Morbid Angel / Divine Heresy's Tim Yeung.

While Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine has dropped hints about the trek, the tour has not yet been officially announced but so far bands have mentioned it will be taking place this summer.
