Members of Stone Temple Pilots and legends from Velvet Revolver/Guns N' Roses will be performing at the ninth annual MusiCares MAP Fund benefit concert.

The benefit concert will be taking place at Club Nokia in Los Angeles on May 30th and both Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington and legendary professional skateboarder Tony Alva will be honored at the event.

The live entertainment will feature members of Stone Temple Pilots (Robert and Dean DeLeo and Eric Kretz), Guns N' Roses legends Slash and Duff McKagan, Linkin Park's Chester Bennington, Mix Master Mike, Tony Alva's Chicken Noodle Project and Ida Maria.

The MusiCares MAP Fund was set up to aid musicians with recovery from addiction. During the benefit Bennington will receive their Stevie Ray Vaughan Award for his support of the fund and Alva will receive their From The Heart Award for his dedication to the fund.

Stone Temple Pilots announced in February that they had fired singer Scott Weiland and this event will mark the members first live appearance together since they ended their last tour in September of last year. More information on MusicCares here.
