(Radio.com) Kenny Chesney has been a dominant presence on the Billboard 200 album chart, grabbing six No. 1 albums between 2002 and 2010 and establishing himself as one of the top-selling country artists in America. That said, 2012′s Gold-certified Welcome to the Fishbowl managed No. 2 on the chart, leading one to wonder if Chesney's reign was coming to an end.

Turns out he's still doing just fine. Life on a Rock, Chesney's 16th studio album, tops the Billboard 200 this week with 153,000 copies sold, according to data from Nielsen SoundScan.

It's Chesney's seventh No. 1 on the chart, dating back to 2002′s No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems. Life on a Rock also becomes the singer's ninth-straight No. 1 album on the US Country Albums chart.

Last week's No. 1, Michael Buble's To Be Loved, drops to No. 2 this week with 96,000 copies moved, a 51 percent decrease from the previous week. The only other Top 10 debut this week comes from a fellow country act
