Linkin Park To Headline U.S. Music Festival
. Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda announced on Monday that the group has signed on to headline this summer installment of the Sunset Strip Music Festival in Hollywood, Ca. Linkin Park will be in good company as previous years of the annual festival has featured headline sets from The Doors, Motley Crue, Slash and Ozzy Osbourne. Shinoda had this to say about the gig, "We played our first shows as a band in 1998, on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. When we were approached about an opportunity to play a special show on the strip, we couldn't say no. "We are excited to announce that we'll be headlining the Sunset Strip Music Festival in West Hollywood, CA on August 3. This time we mean it this will be the ONLY U.S. show for the rest of 2013." The festival is set to take place on August 1st, 2nd and 3rd this year and once again will feature various sets at famed venues along the strip including the Roxy, Whisky A Go-Go, Viper Room and House of Blues.
