Sammy Hagar Reunites With Neal Schon In The Studio
. It's a reunion for Hagar and Schon who teamed up for the short-lived project HSAS in 1983 with bassist Kenny Aaronson and drummer Michael Shrieve. The four players recorded three songs over the weekend for a new Hagar album. The footage follows a recent update by Chickenfoot, who say they expect to regroup to make some new music in 2014. That band's last effort was "Chickenfoot III," which was released in the fall of 2011. Drummer Chad Smith's commitments to the Red Hot Chili Peppers prevented him from joining Chickenfoot for live dates in support of the project, so the group brought in Kenny Aronoff to handle drum duties in his absence. Check out video of the reunion here. hennemusic is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
