Black Star Riders Release Kingdom Of The Lost Lyric Video
. The track follows the album's lead single, "Bound For Glory." Black Star Riders - the new band formed from the final Thin Lizzy lineup recorded the record with veteran producr Kevin Shirley. "He [Shirley] works extremely quick," guitarist Scott Gorham told France's TV Rock Live recently. "I didn't actually realize we were going to record the album this way. The mantra is 12 songs in 12 days and that's basically what happened. You've got your road crew bringing your live gear into the studio, setting it up, and you kind of look over at the drummer and you say, 'Alright, Jimmy, count us in,' and you're off and running. By the end of the day, you have everything on that track done." After touring the past few years as Thin Lizzy, the lineup adopted the new band name last fall to start recording a new album with a clean slate, and out of respect to the legacy of the late Phil Lynott.
