(Radio.com) Country music lost a legend earlier this year. The country community will honor George Jones on November 22 in Nashville. What was to be the final show of his career before retirement, more than 70 acts will take the stage at the Bridgestone Arena for the concert, dubbed Playin' Possum: The Final No Show.

George Strait, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, Blake Shelton, Reba McEntire and Alabama were originally announced as part of the lineup last month. Now the event has added many more acts spanning every genre, including Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Emmylou Harris, Kid Rock, Megadeth, and Country Music Hall of Famers Bobby Bare and Brenda Lee, in addition to surprise guests.

"I am so excited how this show has evolved and I will be forever grateful to the artists that are coming to honor George," Jones' wife, Nancy Jones, said in a press release. "The evening might be long, but I don't think people will be upset as they will witness the best musical tribute Nashville has ever seen with so many artists performing George Jones songs." more on this story
