"I just did a thing with him the other day for 'American Epic,' a six-episode program about the history of the blues," said John. "I got to use the original machine from 1934 that Bessie Smith and Louis Armstrong recorded on, and I wrote a special song with Bernie [Taupin], and Jack White played on it. So it went straight to analog. That was a lot of fun. more

(BW&BK) Anathema's Vincent Cavanagh revealed that the band is ready to enter the studio in December. More specifically he said: "We are preparing to enter the studio after we finish this tour. We have a lot of new ideas and we just have to choose which songs we'll prepare for the album. We have, I would say 60-70% ready! In December we'll start recording for about three weeks, and after a break for Christmas we will continue by the end of January and finish mixing on February." more
