Roy Wood Undergoes Five Hour Surgery
But Wood, 66, thinks he's on the mend, and he's planning to mark the 40th anniversary of Wizzard's smash-hit I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day with a UK tour next month.
He tells the Birmingham Mail: "I had two slipped discs, another which was damaged, and stenosis – a narrowing of the spinal canal. The problems made me feel as if I was having painful electric shocks shooting down my legs.
"It had a big impact of my life; I wasn't able to do half the things I wanted to do, and it kept me on the sidelines. It was so frustrating." more on this story
