Red Hot Chili Peppers, Arcade Fire, NIN, Pixies Lead Lollapalooza Lineups

Red Hot Chili Peppers, Arcade Fire, Soundgarden, Nine Inch Nails, Pixies, Phoenix, Vampire Weekend and Imagine Dragons lead the lineups for both Lollapalooza Chile and Argentina.

Organizes announced the lineup for both events on Monday. Lollapalooza founder Perry Farrell had this to say about the events which will be taking place next spring:

"Our perennial trip through South America has become one of the most anticipated times of the year for my family and our extended family (of musicians)," he said. "I have also been inviting every delightful new acquaintance to join us. They will find it to be an epic journey as well."

Lollapalooza Chile takes place March 29th & 30th at the O'Higgins Park in Santiago and will feature over sixty artists including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soundgarden, Arcade Fire, Nine Inch Nails, Pixies, Phoenix, Vampire Weekend, New Order, Imagine Dragons, Axwell, The Bloody Beetroots, Wolfgang Gartner, Flux Pavilion, Flume and more. Local Chilean artists include Francisca Valenzuela, Joe Vasconcellos, Ana Tijoux, Nicole, Lucybell and Upa!

The inaugural Lollapalooza Argentina will take place on April 1st and 2nd at Hipodromo de San Isidro in Buenos Aires and will feature over fifty acts on five stages including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Arcade Fire, Soundgarden, Nine Inch Nails, Pixies, Phoenix, Vampire Weekend, Axwell and Imagine Dragons. Many Argentinian artists will play including Illya Kuryaki & The Valderramas, Juana Molina, Onda Vaga, and El Mato a un Policia Motorizado.

The lineup for Lollapalooza Brazil will be announced on Monday, November 11th. The event will be taking place April 5th and 6th at the Interlagos Race Track in Sao Paulo.
