John Lees' Barclay James Harvest Kicking Off Tour

(Prog) John Lees' Barclay James Harvest are aiming to repay fans for their patience on their UK tour, which kicks off today (November 7). And mainman Lees says it will be a relief to finally deliver material from latest album North, their first all-new studio album in 14 years.

The band will play nine shows with guests Gordon Giltrap and Oliver Wakeman, although they're replaced at the Edinburgh date by Anne-Marie Helder of Panic Room and Mostly Autumn.

Lees tells Prog: "It feels good to have cleared the air and moved forward, with a new set of songs and the completion of North. The writing and recording was a challenge, but on reflection it's been well worth the effort and, personally, hugely rewarding." more on this story
