(Radio.com) Garth Brooks has slowly been making his way back into the spotlight. Last month he announced a special CBS concert to air live from his long-running residency in Las Vegas, where he'll be performing songs from his various influences. Over the weekend, Brooks revealed that he will release a new compilation along the same lines as his TV special, exclusively through Walmart on Nov. 19.

During a GAC special this past Saturday (Nov. 9), Brooks announced that he will release a four-CD box set of cover songs next week. Titled Blame It All On My Roots: Five Decades of Influences, the box set will include Brooks covering 40 songs from artists who have influenced him, many of which he has already performed during his Vegas residency.

According to the blog the Music Universe, each disc will include 10 tracks from various categories: Country Classics, Classic Rock, Blue-Eyed Soul and Melting Pot.

His wife, Trisha Yearwood, will also be showcased on the songs as a background vocalist, as well as duet with him on Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn's 1971 hit "After the Fire Is Gone." more on this story
