(Radio.com) Lorde and HAIM covering Sheryl Crow's "Strong Enough" off her 1993 album, Tuesday Night Music Club, is exactly what the Spice Girls meant when they preached the gospel of girl power.

The Sisters Haim Este, Danielle and Alana teamed up with the "Royals" singer for VH1′s You Oughta Know concert, which aired last night (Dec. 21) for a groovy, percussion-heavy rendition of the love song, which HAIM covered back in August for Australia's Triple J Radio.

Lorde comes in at the 1:52 mark to add a little grit to the whole thing making us think, this guy probably isn't strong enough to be her man. Or any of these women's man, for that matter.

HAIM were the musical guest on this week's Saturday Night Live with host Josh Hutcherson from the Hunger Games and are kicking off a 17-date North American tour on April 9 in San Francisco.

Check out the video of the Crow cover here.
