(Classic Rock) Motorhead mainman Lemmy has nearly completed work on his solo album, he's revealed. And even if his recent health woes mean his days on tour are numbered, he has a stack of studio projects he wants to get done, including with his rockabilly outfit Head Cat.

The band recently rescheduled their winter UK and European tour dates for early spring next year when it became clear Lemmy hadn't fully recovered from the illnesses that put him in hospital for three weeks during the summer.

He tells Revolver: "After I get get better we're going to try to tour again. If I can't do that full-on, I want to do another album with Head Cat. And, of course, I want to do a couple more Motorhead records.

"But the next thing I've got coming out is my solo album, which is almost done. There are two tracks with the Reverend Horton Heat, two with The Damned, a track with Dave Grohl and a track with Joan Jett." more on this story
