Moby Compares Thom Yorke To 'An Old Guy Yelling At Fast Trains'

(TeamRock Radio) In October 2013, Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke renewed his attack on Spotify and other online music streaming providers in an interview with Mexican website Sopitas; by describing Spotify as "the last desperate fart of a dying corpse", and isn't particularly happy about its relationship with major record labels...

"I feel like as musicians we need to fight the Spotify thing. I feel that in some ways what's happening in the mainstream is the last gasp of the old industry. Once that does finally die, which it will, something else will happen."

It turns out that Moby sees a far different future for music distribution and recently hit back... "I love Thom Yorke, but when I heard him complaining about Spotify, I'm like, 'You're just like an old guy yelling at fast trains.' I love anything that enables people to have more music in their lives." more on this story
