Chris Cornell Suffers Injury

(hennemusic) Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell postponed a solo show in Wilmington, Delaware Wednesday night due to a severe shoulder strain sustained earlier in the day.

"Chris had hoped to be able to make the show tonight, but doctors have advised that he rests," read the official statement. "The date will be rescheduled as soon as possible, and all tickets will be honored. Chris would like to apologize to everyone, especially those who have traveled to Wilmington for the show."

The date was part of Cornell's fall North American tour, comprised of intimate, acoustic shows under his "Songbook" format, with Chris performing tracks from throughout his career including the debut of acoustic arrangements of songs from 2012's "King Animal", Soundgarden's first new studio album in over 16 years. more on this story
