The Eagles Add Three More History of The Eagles Concerts

The Eagles have announced that they have added three additional shows to their upcoming "History of the Eagles" concert series that will reopen the Forum in Southern California.

The Madison Square Garden company purchased the venue and spent over $100 million renovated it and the Eagles will kick off the reopening with the first of six shows on January 15th.

That show will be followed by additional grand reopening concerts on January 17th and 18th along with the newly announced shows on January 22nd, 24th, and 25th.

At the time of the announcement of the original concerts, Eagles' Glenn Frey discussed the shows with Billboard. "The building is a grand dame of all these [arenas], the first of its kind," he said.

"It sounded great when we were rehearsing there. There's something about it and I don't [know] why it sounds the way it does. When we first played there, it looked cavernous.

"All the places (we played in the mid-'70s) appeared big. But I remember how good the Forum sounded and you can hear yourself."
