Flying Colors Streaming Entire New Album Online
. Flying Colors were recorded in action in the Netherlands in September last year. They delivered their full self-titled album along with classic tracks from their own current and previous bands including Dream Theater, Spock's Beard and Dixie Dregs. Bassist LaRue tells Classic Rock: "It was quite an experience the band moved at a fast pace, with ideas flying around the room. Sections of tunes were arranged and rearranged. Ideas were tried every which way until we made them work; or in some cases discarded them altogether. Just keeping track of everything was a challenge." But frontman McPherson says it was worth the effort: "The live album is filled with trial and triumph," he reflects. "It's been such an inspiring challenge melding folk, prog, pop and metal all into one big recording." Check out the stream here. Classic Rock Magazine is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
