Here is the recap: (Classic Rock) Friends of the late Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr will stage a charity fundraising event at this year's Metalwave UK festival at the Circus Tavern, Purfleet, Essex, on Saturday.

The drummer, who played on Iron Maiden's first three albums, passed away earlier this year after a long battle against multiple sclerosis. The event is headlined by former Maiden guitarist Dennis Stratton's band.

Raffle prizes include a Maiden picture disc collection (1980-88) donated by the band; Sampson memorabilia donated by the Paul Sampson Archive; drawings and other items from Maiden roadie Dave Lights and items from Burr's own collection. - more on this story
