Jay-Z Reveals Trailer For Ron Howard-Directed 'Made In America' Film
. The doc, which will debut October 11 on Showtime netw, showcases the broad range of artists who performed at Made in America last year, including Pearl Jam, Run-DMC, Kanye West, Skrillex and many more. The new trailer is heavy with behind-the-scenes footage leading up to that first festival, with a patriotic slant towards unity through music, with Run-DMC rapper Daryl "DMC" McDaniel stating, "This is brilliant that you've got Run-DMC, Pearl Jam, pop, rock, all on the same stage, because music succeeds where politics and religion fail." There are intimate backstage moments with director Ron Howard, who is shown hanging out with EDM star Skrillex, who gives him a quick lesson in spinning dubstep over a pair of CD players. "It's a really good time right now," Jay Z says towards the end of the trailer, "it's a really exciting time to see where this goes."
