Metallica Announce U.S. Premiere of Through The Never
. The film's world premiere will be taking place next Monday, September 9th, at the Toronto International Film Festival and the movie will be released to IMAX theaters in North America on September 27th, followed by a wide release on October 4th. The band had the following to say on their site about the U.S. premiere, "We're back with more premiere news as we're incredibly excited that our first public screening of Through The Never in the U.S. will be right in our own backyard at the beautiful historic Christopher B. Smith Rafael Film Center in San Rafael, CA. "Join us on Tuesday, September 17th at 7:15 PM for this special kick-off event prior to the 36th annual Mill Valley Film Festival, the 11 day celebration of cinema representing welcoming over 200 filmmakers from over 50 countries around the world. The prestigious festival has presented premieres of four of the last five films that have gone on to win the Academy Award for Best Picture . . . they have quite an incredible record! "We'll all be on hand for a post screening interview and audience Q&A with the founder of the festival and Executive Director of the California Film Institute, Mark Fishkin. We hope you can join us to watch the film, hang out, and talk about Through The Never.
