Ariana Grande Releases Baby I Video
. In the video for "Baby I," off her debut, Yours Truly (out now), no one is turning into any sort of liquid substance, instead it features Grande professing her love for that special someone in several different locations including the bus, the street, a house party, the rooftop and some random scaffolding. Very Paula Abdul in her video for "Cold Hearted." The Nickelodeon starwho previously appeared on Victorious and currently stars on the show Sam & Catalso gets a chance to flirt with the camera in all types of '90s-inspired garb including a sunflower crop top and a pair of shortaralls that would have made Mayim Bialik in her Blossom days proud. Grande certainly is winning everyone over with her '90s throwback style. Her debut single, "The Way," featuring Mac Miller and a sample of Big Pun's "Still Not A Player," debuted Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and her other single, "Right There" with Big Sean also seems to be making its way up the charts. Her collaborations with Miller and Sean remind us of surprise, surprise Mariah. It's a comparison that Grande always gets, but one she doesn't mind one bit. "When Mariah first came out, they compared her to Whitney. When Whitney first came out, they compared her to Aretha," she said in an interview with GRAMMY.com. "I take it as a huge compliment because Mariah is the queen vocalistI really just can't wait for people to hear the rest of the music, the rest of the album so they can know what Ariana's about."
