Drake Delivers Wu-Tang Fever

(Radio.com) Drake's new track "Wu-Tang Forever" isn't really about his love for the Wu. Instead, using a sample of Wu-Tang Clan's "It's Yourz" off the rap collective's 1997 double album, Wu-Tang Forever, he details his love affair with a woman who's already taken.

With help from producer, Noah "40″ Shebib, Drake breaks down his conflicted feelings about love and fame over a classical piano line. Drake has a lot of feelings, and he's letting them out on this song, rapping, "I just get a rush when I see your enemy in the club and realize he's not in a position to reciprocate your energy." Pretty deep stuff.

Drizzy does take a little inspiration from Wu's "It's Yourz," repurposing Raekwon's opening line, "Machine gun raps for all my n****s in the back / Stadium packed, just glad to see the city on the map."

This is the third track fans have gotten a chance to hear from Drake's upcoming album, Nothing Was The Same, out September 24. Listen to the new track here.
