(Radio.com) Ever since he spun off from *NSYNC and went solo, Justin Timberlake has been compared to Michael Jackson. Now the reigning pop superstar has paid homage to the eternal 'King of Pop' with an electrifying live version of the Jacksons' 1978 smash hit, "Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)."

Timberlake's take on the tune originally found on the Jacksons' 1978 multi-platinum full-length, Destiny, was part of a recent on-air performance for BBC Radio 1′s Live Lounge, famous for having guests perform cover songs. The singer and his band appear particularly energized playing the song that originally peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100.

JT has been busily promoting the upcoming September 30 release of The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2, the highly anticipated follow-up and "second half" to the original The 20/20 Experience full-length, which currently stands as the album with the biggest opening sales week of 2013, moving 968,000 copies in its first seven days of release back in March.
