Today rising Hip-Hop star 20 Twen tells us about his brand new single "Rollin," which comes ahead of the release of his new mix tape "A Clockwork Black". Here is the story:

All of my music means a lot to me but "Rollin" is definitely one that stands out above the rest. I wanted to make a song that all types of people could ride and relate to. I put a lot of my own real life experiences in the lyrics but also tied together some universal themes. Who doesn't like to chill with their female companion?

The song at its core is about me doing what I do. I like to smoke a little, I like to drink a little but girls like to party and feel good too so it's for everyone. I wanted the track to feel like everyone was together partying, like I was inviting the ladies to come over, have a good time and kick it with a king.

The beat to me is also a stand out. C-Sick produced the track and the second I heard it, I knew it was what I was looking for. I'd originally written the first few bars to Fabolous' "Life is So Exciting" but it fit a lot better with the C-Sick classic.

Most of my music is pretty hard and that fits my personality but I wanted to write a record that the females could enjoy without the fellas hearing it and saying "ah man this is soft!" "Rollin" is that kind of record, there is something in it for everyone and I feel like since I only stated facts in the song people have respected it. I'm not acting or putting on a show, my lyrics show who I am in real life. Overall, this song was to give an honest portrayal of me and create a song that would help people make memories when they party.

I hope everyone likes the track and keep an eye out for more music!!
