LeBron James Raps Over A Jay-Z Beat?
. The word is that James and longtime friend/rapper Sian Cotton posted up in an Ohio recording studio to record a remix of Jay Z's track "F***WithMeYouKnowIGotIt," found on the rapper's latest album, Magna Carter Holy Grail. "We were working out together and LeBron said 'let's get in the booth," Cotton said (via Sports Illustrated). "I said 'I'm going tonight', so he came to the studio." If the remix (entitled "Kingdom") is indeed by James (it is April Fool's Day, after all), he wouldn't be the worst professional basketball player to take a shot at hip-hop (he's at least on par with Kevin Durant, his closest competition in the NBA). But actual rappers like Nas and Freddie Gibbs certainly won't be looking over their shoulders for him, either. more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
