Keb' Mo' Gave Up Rock and Roll Dream For The Blues
. Mo', real name Kevin Moore, tells the Georgetowner: "I had some thoughts about being a rock star, you know, that kind of life. It took me a while to get everything straight and forget about that." His 11th studio album, Blues Americana, is set for release on April 21 - and he says it's a prime example of how he finally learned to live for the music instead of the lifestyle. It's a lesson he picked up from Taj Mahal: "He was doing things his way, and that's what you do," says Mo'. "People respond to the songs. It's about real life." more on this story The Blues Magazine is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
