Rascal Flatts Admit To Lip-Syncing at ACM Awards
. According to USA Today, the performance of the country trio's hit "Rewind" at the awards show was lip-synced. The revelation comes after many suspected something was up when some audio issues surfaced at the beginning of the song that made it sound like something had been switched up a bit. Even during the performance itself, LeVox seemed a little off the actual beat, generally a tell-tale sign of a non-live vocal. In a statement on Facebook and Twitter, the band revealed that "Rewind" had been lip-synced, due to voice issues with LeVox himself. According to the band, the singer lost his voice after having performed multiple shows earlier in the week, and rather than canceling outright, they decided to march on to the best of their ability for the ACM Awards performance. more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
