Megadeth Helping Deaf Woman Experience Her First Concert

. (hennemusic) Megadeth will launch their 2014 Super Collider world tour in Las Vegas on Thursday, and the band are flying a born-deaf woman who received hearing implants to the show so she can experience her first rock concert.

Sarah Churman received her first hearing implant in 2011; a YouTube video of the then-29-year-old hearing for the first time was an internet sensation, eventually racking up almost 21 million views online.

The Las Vegas Review Journal reports Megadeth is flying Churman and her husband Sloan to see the band and Motorhead perform at the Pearl Concert Theater at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas this week

"Yes sir. First trip to Vegas. First rock concert. There's a lot of firsts happening," said Churman from Forth Worth, Texas. "We pinch pennies and live on a shoestring, pretty much. So concerts are something we don't get to go to very often. I'm excited." more on this story
