Framing Hanley Singled Out Week: Castaway

Framing Hanley released their new album, "The Sum Of Who You Are", this week and to celebrate we asked frontman Kenneth Nixon to tells us about some of the songs. Today he tells us about the track "Castaway".

This song is one that hits close to home every time I listen to it. I remember the emotion I felt when writing that lyric: "...we'll stay and go down with this ship."

The past 2 1/2 years working on this album was an emotional rollercoaster. I've been through it all over the years with the guys in my band. There were times when we didn't even know if this album would ever see the light of day.

In the end, though, we realized, "man, there are people out there that are pulling for us…that care enough to actually stand by this long in wait of this album."

That's enough to keep going…to keep your head down and keep pressing forward. We're in this thing until the end…and even when that time comes, we're going down with the ship…as one, whole unit.
