Alt-J Release Left Hand Free Video

(Radio.com) Alt-J have momentarily stepped away from the deconstructed soul-pop that defined their Mercury Price-winning debut album, An Awesome Wave. They went in a rootsy, Southern direction on their latest single "Left Hand Free" - from their upcoming sophomore album, This Is All Yours - and its video was made with the same approach.

The video, set in a rural area that could be the American South, is all about teens doing what teens do in the summertime: river rafting, blazing through the country road on a pickup truck while lighting fireworks, riding ATVs, and having way more fun than adults do when school's out.

While previous video "Hunger of the Pine" was shot by Lana Del Rey collaborator Nabil, "Left Hand Free" gets an assist for Ryan Staake, who's helmed videos for Diplo and Major Lazer, among others.
