Miley Cyrus Premieres New Song About a Friend's Dead Cat
. But, her most exciting appearance was when she took the stage last week to perform the new non-Bangerz track, "The Twinkle Song." Miley, wearing a shiny silver tinsel wig to go with her barely there silver unitard, told the crowd was inspired by the death of her friend's cat. "I had these crazy dreams the night her cat died, feel like her cat told me what I had to say to her to get her through it," she said of the track she had previously only performed in her living room. Miley took a seat behind a piano for the Flaming Lips-esque track, sweetly singing about dreams of David Bowie "who was shaped like Gumby" and flying planes too high before getting a little morbid. 'And I had a dream that you were dying ' You sang me to sleep, you sang me to sleep / But what does it mean, what does it all mean?" she sang. Read more and watch the performance here.
