. The two of them riffed for a while about the pure absurdity of a legendary musician writing music for a video game. McCartney describes how he first encountered video games--'I'd see my grandkids playing them"--and began playing, and soon enough 'I was Mr. Cool" (and not cool because, you know, he's a Beatle. Then the two get into an extended riff on the idea that McCartney would rather be making this guest appearance on Ellen.
