'The Interview' Hitting Theaters On Christmas After All

(Radio.com) Tim League, of the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema chain, announced via Twitter on Tuesday that Sony Pictures has authorized screenings of The Interview. The Plaza Theater in Atlanta will also be showing the film, reports say.

Its opening had been pulled after the studio's network was hacked and sensitive information and e-mails leaked online. The FBI has determined North Korea was responsible for the attack.

Before the hack and the resulting controversy, CBS San Francisco's Liam Mayclem interviewed star Seth Rogen who joked (or predicted?), "We've been told there's a good chance North Korean hackers have already downloaded it from the Sony servers."

The Wrap reports that the movie will also be made available on demand Christmas Day as well. No word yet on which cable operators or online outlets will be offering the film. Read more here.
