(Radio.com) Less than a month after winning three GRAMMYs and singing with Stevie Wonder, Daft Punk and Nile Rodgers on the GRAMMY stage, Pharrell Williams has announced he will take the Oscars stage.

Today, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that the producer will perform "Happy" from the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack, which is nominated for Best Original Song. The singer/songwriter/producer helped created the soundtrack for the film and last November, he released a video for "Happy" which ran for 24 hours and featured many guest spots including Odd Future's Tyler, the Creator and Earl Sweatshirt, Steve Martin, Steve Carell, among others.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, if Pharrell wins Best Original Song, he will be the third rapper to receive an Oscar following Eminem for "Lose Yourself" from 8 Mile and Three Six Mafia for "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp" from Hustle & Flow. more on this story
