God Is An Astronaut, Jesu, More Added To Beyond The Redshift Festival

. (Prog) God Is An Astronaut, Jesu, The Old Wind, Syndrome and Sleepmakeswaves have been added to the bill for the inaugural Beyond The Redshift Festival.

The Prog-sponsored event, curated by Cult Of Luna, takes place on May 10 across three London venues: The Forum, The Dome and the Boston Music Room.

The festival also features performances by Amplifier, God Seed, Amenra, Bossk, Dirk Serries and Blueneck. Nine more acts will be announced in the coming weeks.

Headliners Cult Of Luna - who recently calmed speculation they were splitting up - said of the event: "The cosmological redshift is cause by the expansion of space; the wavelength of light increases as it traverses the universe. It suggests to us that everything is moving away from everything else." more on this story
