During a visit with Australian radio station Triple J, Lorde spoke about her rising career and covered "Retrograde," from GRAMMY Best New Artist nominee James Blake.

"What I'm going through is so abnormal and I feel like a lot of people at my level don't write about it, because a lot of what we do is boring," she said. "It's interesting for me to write about the weird little details of doing what I do."
