Messenger Release Somniloquist Video

. (Prog) London based band Messenger have released a brand new video for their single Somniloquist. It is taken from the band's debut album, Illusory Blues, which will be released on Svart Records on March 31.

The band, who feature Khaled Lowe, Barnaby Maddick, Ulver/Cathedral producer Jaime Gomez Arellano, Daniel Knight and James Leach formed back in 2012, and their appealing blend of prog, folk and psychedelic rock first grabbed Prog's attention back in early 2013 when we featured the band in the Limelight section of the magazine and have regularly featured the band in the Prog Magazine Radio Show. Since then, Messenger have signed a deal with acclaimed Finnish label Svart and begun performing live.

Described by Ulver's Kristoffer Rygg as "�totally unafraid to mic it up; the flutes of prog and Americana-style violins meets hard rovcking drums and pop sensible vocal work. And although you can hear quite clearly the references and influences, it all amounts to a most novel and prodigious production." Watch the video here.
