Gregg Allman Biopic Cast Expands

. (hennemusic) The Gregg Allman biopic, "Midnight Rider", has added three more actors to the cast. Charles Dutton, Aldis Hodge and Kathy Baker have joined the cast, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Dutton (TV's Longmire) will play Chank Middleton, Gregg's best friend, confidant and assistant, while Hodge (TV's Leverage) will play a younger version of the man; Baker, last seen in "Saving Mr. Banks", is playing the Allmans' mother.

The film stars Tyson Ritter - the lead singer/songwriter of the All American Rejects - as a young Gregg Allman, Wyatt Russell as his brother Duane, and William Hurt will play the present-day version of Gregg. more on this story
