(Radio.com) Billy Ray Cyrus is about to cause some achy breaky hip-hop hearts. On Dec. 31, Larry King broke the news on Twitter. "Just spoke with @billyraycyrus on the phone he's recorded a hip-hop version of 'Achy Breaky Heart' he's excited about it & so am I!" King tweeted.

Although King and Cyrus were clearly excited, much of the response on Twitter was negative, one tweeting that "at least two people" are excited about the track. Another responded, claiming that Cyrus was "trying to out-crazy his daughter" Miley. The negative feedback didn't stop there. The news brought some to say it must be Armageddon while others simply said "2014 sucks."

Cyrus released "Achy Breaky Heart" on March 23, 1992, just a year after The Marcy Brothers recorded it when it was originally titled as "Don't Tell My Heart." The singer/actor's most popular song, it became a crossover hit on both the country charts and Billboard's Hot 100, peaking at No. 4. more on this story
