Lady Gaga Pleads for Fan Forgiveness, Slams Ex-Manager
. The open letter also allowed for an airing of the grievances regarding those who have betrayed her and mismanaged her time. In November, Gaga split from her longtime manager Troy Carter over "creative differences," but she does not mention him by name here. In the post, Gaga talks openly about why the video for "Do What U Want" has been delayed, explaining that the Terry Richardson-helmed clip was rushed due to poor planning on behalf of those around her. "Those who have betrayed me gravely mismanaged my time and health and left me on my own to damage control any problems that ensued as a result," she wrote, explaining that she was given only a week to plan for the video when her other clips have taken her months to plan. "It is very devastating for someone like me, I devote every moment of my life to creating fantasies for you." Mother Monster makes a point to say her anger is not aimed towards her record label, Interscope, but those in her inner circle. This follows another recent post in which Gaga addressed the rumors that ARTPOP was a "flop" that cost her label $25 million and led to layoffs. "I have lost love [sic] ones to the greed of money," she wrote (via Billboard). "It is not Interscope. They in fact love me very much and will see ARTPOP to the end." She even notes that her label has been unaware of what has going on over the past few months, calling her former inner circle greedy. more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
